Zub at TCAF This Weekend!

This weekend Skullkickers writer/creator Jim Zub is one of the many creators exhibiting at TCAF – The Toronto Comic Arts Festival! TCAF is a FREE event happening May 9th and 10th at the Toronto Reference Library. Dozens and dozens of comic creators will be in attendance and there will be signings, talks, and tables jammed with comics, graphic novels, and artwork.

He’ll be at TABLE 229 both days with copies of Skullkickers, as well as Wayward, Makeshift Miracle, Figment, Samurai Jack, D&D: Legends of Baldur’s Gate, and more!

Skullkickers at New York Comic Con!

Here we go again! The last big show of the year is in New York at the Jacob Javits Center and it should be as crazy as ever.

Edwin Huang and Jim Zub will be set up in the separated Artist Alley show floor area at TABLE H6.

They’ll have Skullkickers books aplenty, but also sketch covers, variants, and more!

Skullkickers at Fan Expo 2013!

From Thursday through to Sunday Jim Zub will be exhibiting at Fan Expo, the largest convention in Canada!

You can find him set up at Artist Alley Table P-34. He’ll be there with Skullkickers comics galore, along with convention-only goodies like variant/sketch covers and the Skullkickers World Map poster.

Skullkickers at Gen Con 2013!

This year’s Gen Con Indy (August 15-18) is going to be epic.

Skullkickers will be set up again. Look for Jim Zub at Booth #1749 along with with Tracy Hickman (Dragonlance, Ravenloft) and Howard Tayler (Schlock Mercenary).

This Weekend: TCAF 2013!

This weekend in Toronto is the 10th annual Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF)!

Edwin Huang and Jim Zub will be exhibiting both days at TABLE 211 on the 2nd floor and they’ll have copies of Skullkickers for sale.

Best of all, TCAF is completely FREE to attend! If you live in the Greater Toronto Area there’s no reason not to swing by and be inspired by the creators and programming lined up.

Saturday: Edwin and Zub in Maryland!

This weekend Jim and Edwin will be in Annapolis, Maryland for a special Savage Skullkickers #1 launch signing party at Third Eye Comics! It’s also International Tabletop Day so they’ll be playing board games, card games and RPGs (especially Skullkickers-Munchkin).

It’s going to be an amazing event. If you live in Maryland you need to make your way to Third Eye this Saturday!

Zub at ECCC This Weekend!

Convention season 2013 begins with the always-amazing Emerald City Comicon in Seattle, Washington!

Jim Zub will be exhibiting at the show all three days and will have books and comics on hand for you to check out, including our wonderful Emerald City Comicon variant of the brand new UNCANNY SKULLKICKERS #1 with cover art by Jeff “Chamba” Cruz (who is also attending, so you can get two signatures).

In addition he’ll also be hosting two panels and signing at both Image Comics and Dynamite Entertainment at select times.

Join Katie Cook (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) and Jim Zub (Skullkickers) as they tell tales about what it can be like behind the convention table. Stories like that of a man in California that introduced a fox puppet as his son, to a man in a tiger costume that talked about his removable loincloth! Sometimes the folks that go to conventions really are “those weirdos”. Some stories will make you laugh out loud, some will make you cringe! (May not be appropriate for all ages)

SUNDAY 12pm-1pm in HALL C: WRITING & PITCHING CREATOR-OWNED COMICS
Creator-owned comics have grabbed the imagination of the comic-reading community all over again and publishers are looking for fresh ideas from a new generation of talent. Listen closely as creators Cullen Bunn (The Sixth Gun), Charles Soule (27), and moderator Jim Zub (Skullkickers) discuss pitching their hit comic series to publishers and offer advice on how to climb to the top of the treacherous submission mountain, along with comic writing techniques and amusing anecdotes.
