Shaun Daniels and the rest of the staff at Horror Haven Reviews decided to get caught up with Skullkickers all the way to issue #8 and give the book their highest recommendations.
“Skullkickers is a book you should be reading. Why you might ask? Very simple…it has ass kickery, laughs and, dammit, good old-fashioned comic fun.”…”Leave your computer or put away your smart device and BUY THIS BOOK!!”

Roman Colombo at Weekly Comic Book Review takes a look at Skullkickers Vol. 1: 1000 Opas and a Dead Body and thoroughly enjoys the ride.
“The script is lively and absolutely hilarious. The Dwarf and the Big Guy (they have no names) are extremely fun characters, working of the classic loose cannon and stoic pair up. And if there was any confusion, the Dwarf is the loose cannon.”

The gang at Geeks of Doom have Skullkickers #8 on their Most Anticipated Titles of the Week, which is convenient because it arrives in stores today!
MK2FAC3: “I’ve really enjoyed this book since issue one, and not a single issue has disappointed me. I’m pretty sure that I’ve talked about it before, but if you don’t recall, Skullkickers is like Dungeons & Dragons and Dumb and Dumber, only with clever writing… and Jell-O pudding.
But seriously folks, this book is a blast. It’s got middle age mythology and fantasy, which the metal head in me loves, but it doesn’t take itself too seriously, which appeals to just about every other characteristic to personality.
This is the second issue in the current story line of this creator-owned book, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find that last issue (it’s available digitally). Skullkickers is insanely ridiculous. And I mean that as a compliment.”

Skullkickers #8 is in stores starting today. It’s the second part of our ‘Five Funerals and a Bucket of Blood’ story arc and I really do feel it’s one of the most entertaining issues we’ve released so far.
It has ridiculous gunplay, a street brawl, a secret fight pit and two mercenaries trying to get themselves robbed by thieves. There are hi-jinks aplenty heaped on top of our usual mix of action and comedy.
Tell your friends, your enemies and strangers you meet – Skullkickers brings the fun with each and every issue, on time and $2.99.
